So, you’re looking for a photographer?
Great. I’m a pretty decent one.
I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember - from little videos I’d make as a kid, studying media, film and theatre at A Level, and generally finding excuses to document whatever was going on around me.
Then, like a sensible adult, I went and got myself a 9-5.
It was fine. I was fine. Everything was fine.
Except… I really missed making things.
Because photography, for me, has never been about wandering around looking for something pretty to point a camera at. I like people. I like the weird little in-between bits. The belly laughs, the nervous glances, the chaos, the auntie dancing before anyone else has had a drink, the hand on your back when you don't even realise you need it.
Basically, the stuff you probably won't remember happening - but will be very glad someone photographed.
So that's what I'm here for.
I'll get the important photos, obviously. But I'll also be paying attention to everything happening around them. The things you didn't see. The moments you didn't know were happening. The photos that make you laugh years later because, oh my goodness, I forgot that happened!
No stiff posing. No turning your wedding into a photoshoot. And absolutely no disappearing for three hours while your guests wonder where you've gone.
Just good photographs, a bit of direction when you need it, and me quietly (or not so quietly) making sure you get to keep the bits of the day you didn't even realise you'd want.
