I’m not the kind of photographer who will force you into awkward poses.
Think of me more as an extra member of your bridal party … there to keep things relaxed, have a laugh, and capture the real moments as they naturally unfold.

I’m based in Fife but can travel all across the UK to make sure your wedding photos feel effortless, authentic, and most importantly … like you.

Hey there! I’m Jo.

So, you’re looking for a photographer?

Great. I can help you with that!

I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember - from little videos I’d make as a kid, to studying media, film and theatre at A Level, and generally finding excuses to document whatever was going on around me.

Then, like a sensible adult, I went and got myself a 9-5.

It was fine. I was fine. Everything was fine.

Except… I really missed making things.

Because photography, for me, has never been about wandering around looking for something pretty to point a camera at. I like people. I like the weird little in-between bits. The belly laughs, the nervous glances, the chaos, the auntie dancing before anyone else has had a drink, the hand on your back when you don't even realise you need it.

Basically, the stuff you probably won't remember happening - but will be very glad someone photographed.

So that's what I'm here for.

I'll get the important photos, obviously. But I'll also be paying attention to everything happening around them. The things you didn't see. The moments you didn't know were happening. The photos that make you laugh years later because, oh my goodness, I forgot that happened!

No stiff posing. No turning your wedding into a photoshoot. And absolutely no disappearing for three hours while your guests wonder where you've gone.

Just good photographs, a bit of direction when you need it, and me quietly (or not so quietly) making sure you get to keep the bits of the day you didn't even realise you'd want.

Most couples tell me they’re awkward in front of a camera, and honestly? That’s completely normal. You don’t need modelling experience or perfectly rehearsed poses.

My job is to create an atmosphere where you can
relax, enjoy yourselves, and forget the camera is even there.

I’m there to help things
feel easier, calmer, and more natural while quietly capturing everything as it actually happens.

The way I photograph weddings is just as important as the photos themselves.
